Pick Up from your hotel at 7am to depart at 7.30am. And immediately whisked away to Lake Nakuru National Park. The short, two to three hour drive passes by some beautiful scenery of the Great Rift Valley, and before you know it you'll be lakeside and ready for your game drive.
The park is no longer home to its once famous flamingo flocks, but it remains a world class game drive destination. Four of the Big Five are present (with elephants being the notable absence), with both buffalo and rhinoceros being especially common in the park.
You will also enjoy view of The Makalia waterfalls, unique vegetation of about 550 different plant species including biggest euphorbia forest in Africa and Picturesque landscape of yellow acacia woodlands. Also worth viewing are View point of Lion hill and Baboon cliff.
You'll enjoy a day long game drive along the shores of Lake Nakuru taking in its diverse variety of both animal and bird life. You'll then return to Nairobi in the late afternoon or early evening.
A picnic lunch or lunch at one of the park's lodges can be arranged upon request.
